Building on the success of 2018's inaugural FANS Youth Film Festival, we wanted to refresh the brand while keeping some of the strong key elements from last year. Creating a legacy with the great start for the festival's identity.
The festival was switching venues to Summerhall in Edinburgh. The concept chosen was a reflection of the venues multi-levels. The initials F-Y-F-F as an isometric building projection with figure engaging in activities found at the festival.
This became the main image for the marketing campaign. But in the lead up to the festival, we 'exploded' the original drawing. This was made into an animation to use as an ident in between films. It also populated the festival brochure.
A one colour line version was used the merchandise for the team at the festival.
